MY TIME. MY LABOR. MY PRICE.
Wear your economic rights. The People’s Hospitality Activist T-Shirt turns three fundamental principles of professional autonomy into wearable protest art: your time belongs to you, your labor has value, and you deserve agency in determining the price of your expertise.
Made for waiters, bartenders, artists, photographers, chefs, designers, hospitality professionals, independent service providers, sex workers, creators, and anyone whose time, body, skill, or creativity produces economic value, this organic cotton activist tee belongs at work, in the studio, behind the bar, on set, and everywhere labor deserves visibility. Wear it tomorrow. Start a conversation. Advocate for your economic rights and the rights of the people working beside you.

The People’s Hospitality Movement
People’s Hospitality is a human-first movement advocating for fair compensation, professional autonomy, meaningful consent, economic equality, and human dignity throughout hospitality and the wider service economy. It challenges tipping culture and economic systems that transfer power away from the people performing the labor, while recognizing genuinely independent professionals as partners with the agency to negotiate the value of their expertise.
The message reaches far beyond hospitality. Workers’ rights, artists’ rights, queer liberation, bodily autonomy, and the decriminalization of consensual adult sex work share a fundamental principle: people deserve meaningful control over their bodies, labor, time, and economic participation. Collective advocacy gives us the cultural power to dismantle abusive concentrations of wealth and power and build something more human in their place.
Created by Artist/Activist Maxwell Alexander
Created by Maxwell Alexander for HARD NEW YORK, the design extends his work as an artist, human-rights activist, photographer, publisher, and co-founder of the People’s Hospitality Movement. Alexander’s homoerotic art and activism reclaim bodily autonomy, queer visibility, human dignity, and the right to receive fair compensation for creative and professional labor.
MY TIME. MY LABOR. MY PRICE.
Human first. Profit later.
